Wine Growing Region

A »Pannonian« Jewel

The market town Gols am Neusiedlersee in Burgenland, is a wine growing village known for its long tradition of winemaking and high quality wines. The unique location between the Parndorf Plain and the Heideboden provides particularly fertile soil for the vines, while the nearby endorheic lake creates the famous “Pannonian climate”. Nearly 2,000 hours of sunshine a year and the high humidity in the region help ripen our grapes to perfection, providing the basis for our excellent wines. Here in Gols, we not only make high-quality wines, we do so with the greatest care and attention to detail.
